By lies by media told.

That had us go to war
For weapons dire of MD
Unheard of just before.

Then COVID comes we know not whence
And is it something new?
A worldwide plague to kill us all?
Or just a nasty flu?

In any case, with good PR
It has us in a whirl.
And twenty headlines later,
Has shut down the whole world.

And numbers come from scientists
Suggesting many deaths,
And videos and news reports
Which stir fear in our breasts.

The media goes O.T.T.
Counting up the cases
While on the ground the doctors say
The figures are without basis.

Cases depend on a PCR test
Never meant to diagnose
They come up fairly positive
For anything up your nose.

It’s deaths not cases that should count,
And the toll – although it’s horrid
Is less than normal flu could mount
But headlines have been torrid.

And if the COVID is so bad
You need a test to spot
Then you may feel that you’ve been had
It’s ‘gullible’ you’ve got!

The strategy is doubt and fear,
To keep us in our mask.
While vaccines are being worked on.
A profitable task!

Eschewing cash and friendliness,
Doing just what we are told.
An exercise in full control.
Humanity gone cold.

And yet? And yet… There is a cure!
But blocked at every turn.
So quick. So cheap. So profitless.
By all the media spurned.

This should help avoid COVID.
It’s easier than you think.

Gets past this ‘virus bane’
Then gobble down some HCQ,
And you’ll be right as rain.

They’re guided by the Who
And anything that they don’t like
Is flushed straight down the loo.

(Who’ll make a load of money)
And take the vaccine from his mates?
Who me? Now don’t be funny!

To judge your fellow man.
Just use your intuition
To measure their true span.
